This weeks learning showed me firsthand accounts of people who have been incarcerated and what their experience was like. It made me sad to think of a young woman heading to prison for a crime she did not commit. Also, it was very interesting to hear what it was like to be incarcerated in Kenya versus the United States. I would like to do more research on Teresa Njoroge and her story.
