Week 13 Post 2 Ted Talks

A key factor in a strong presentation is eye contact and stage presence. In both talks, the speaker seemed comfortable and has confidence, and is able to connect with the audience. They both spoke on big broad topics, yet were able to find specifics so the audience can still connect or hear a personal story.
Bryan Stevenson and Marlon Peterson both discussed injustice within the system, with the second sharing a more person story of his time while incarcerated. They shared common stereotypes of those who have been incarcerated or live in a low-income community. Through sharing shocking facts, the speakers reached their audience and engaged them.
