My reaction to this weeks learning is curious in regards to steps that could be taken to make trials less biased. Could a training be implemented to help people rely less on their prior knowledge or stereotypes? It was interesting to learn some of the models and thought processes occurring on a jury. The main influences on the jury unfortunately all connected to a persons appearance, which does not necessarily reflect their actions.
Have you found any statistics on the make up of juries?
